On Tuesday josh, Micah, Jaxon and I went down stairs and read a school joural book from 2010. We then read a play and had roles/characters. and we had certain lines. My character was BRAD. He was a Celebtrity, He had an accent. Once we finished we started Inkwells. This was a Poem.

Maths we learnt times tables, At lunch times we played dodge ball. we won and it was fun because someone swapped out with the person who threw it. I got out and then got the first to hit. And then I lasted the longest, and was a champion.

I have created a Minecraft world.

In the Minecraft world you will discover all the sights that  I saw

I decided to make this world because I wanted to see all the cool stuff in minecraft

For reading we made a drawing of a cat. We made it because we were looking at the habitats of animals. Here is the picture of the cat.  Did you know that cats can fall 200 feet and survive?

Last week, my friends and I went to Sumner Beach. We learnt about sand dunes and learrnt about animals. There was one animal called katipō it was my favroite.

I have been learning about habits and the wetlands and the urban areas.

Did you know that the Wetlands are a kind of mangrove where trees grow in water. What do you know about the wetlands?

We have been learning about habitats. This week I made a fact file about the Bumblebee. I chose to do a bumblebee because I think they are cool, they give life.

In reading we have been learning about habitats. I learnt about Wetlands this week. I learnt that Wetlands are wet and that is all I really know. I also know that there are alot of bugs in the wetlands.

Our learning goal this week is to make connections.

Last week in Tumu for Cybersmart we had to create our own Scam. I created a McDonalds scam which is presented like it would look like on the McDonalds App. Next time I would like to have been able to use transpercy to create the illusion it was real. As this is something they might do.

Yesterday we had a visit from the Science Roadshow. The focus of the session was Sound Waves.

Some of the main messages about Sound Waves were that they can travel really far and they can go high pitch because the sound changes

Something I enjoyed the most was finding a key with a metal detector because every time you move the metal detector it beeps and you have to go dig in.

My favourite part of the Science Roadshow was seeing the fire grow up and grow down because there was a girl named Pearl who kept on saying AHH when the fire goes up.

Something I will take away from this visit was pulling a thing and then like a ball comes up.because and you have to get grippy hands to get the ball to the air.

What happens if a car comes and it goes far and you don’t hear it?
